Wow! Really looking forward to this! I think July may be Fabric 53 though? Anyhow, always wondered why you hadn't done one yet, much like I've always wondered why you have never done an essential mix on R1? Never been asked, or turned it down?

@Neil
Yes, it will be Fabric 53. You spotted the (ahem) deliberate mistake.

Never been asked to do an essential mix on R1, though I don't go chasing after that sort of thing. Just get on with my thing and take opportunities when they present themselves.

looking forward to this! :)

bit off topic but any chance of some pics/words about your studio/live setup and how you go about things? would be most interesting to us geeks.

Many thanks !

OH! Well done, sir! I'm sure I don't have to mention the Fabric series really brings out the top crust of interesting music. I couldn't think of a more fitting artists for the series.

Here's hoping for a better flow to your mix than Martyn's Fabric 50. He had great tracks, poor cohesion/flow IMHO.

Just got the promo. Love the sexy robot voice watermark! I won't say anything about the mix itself yet, but the sound quality is fantastic, big ups to Dave Turner.
