Strange one! Usually it's clubs / promoters I hear of getting in trouble from artists for putting sets on the web. Not the other way round! I already downloaded the set yesterday , which is superb by the way.
Gutted, meant to d/l it today a well! Fabric have always been funny about sets being released. Hardly see what they stand to lose in this instance. Oh well
Ha never mind, i just stumbled across it by accident there. Clicked one of their tracks on youtube trying to copy and paste and hey presto there it was.
Its under the name beyond not Maenad. Don't know what the story is there. It could be wrong but il to find out.
The mythic third track. The Maenad CD releases contain two tracks. They show track one as 'Ov The Maenad', and track two as 'The Valley', with 'Beyond' printed just under that. This has created much confusion as most believe the second track to be titled 'The Valley Beyond'. It's not. It's just 'The Valley'. The third track, 'Beyond', was only released on the original three track 12" (seen in the video). The title should never have been printed on the CD sleeves. To make matter even more confusing, Discogs shows a twenty minute version of 'Beyond', which may or may not be correct. It's very possible with PWOG that two seperate versions were released, but the version used to make this video was not twenty minutes long (and it's clearly sourced from a vinyl release - the only place this track exists). It was only about ten minutes and twenty seconds and I edited off a little ambient bit at the end to get it down to ten. Regarding the tracks; 'Ov The Maenad' is a thousand years of pagan hippies dancing at sunset to blaring trumpets of joy (or something like that). 'The Valley' takes it into the cold; holding on to just the beat, the 303 line and very little else. Tribal minimalism. 'Beyond' starts off in a recognizable fashion as it's now the third time you've heard this track, but then it takes it late night. At :40 some part of the track begins to be looped backwards; from 6:30 on there's a new synth chord that pops up a few times; and the beat is kept solid and moving up until the 8:50 second mark. Definitely three seperate tracks. No track titled 'The Valley Beyond'.

I'll delete it straight away then... =)
Thanks as always for your stunning mixes man :P
Glad I downloaded it yesterday! Looking forward to having a listen.
Fantastic mix, thoroughly gutted I couldn't make it last Saturday!
Bit of a shame Fabric couldn't have been more open-minded about you sharing it, but then it doesn't surprise me.
That's a huge shame. After their write up before the event I was half expecting them to make the mix available...
Had a top night on Sat, great last track : )

just one thing to say... fabric, WTF?
It was really a biiig set...
"animo amigo" anthony, you're the man.
Speaking of sets.
In a number of sets it says you play PWOG Maenad. I love the sound in the mix but the track i have is completely different.
Is it a remix? mashup? Edited etc. If you could let me know i would appreciate it.
Thanks.
RE: PWOG Maenad
There're several remixes of that released.
yeah but i can only seem to find two of them, not the one i want anyway.
